Lurch Base & Soul Slow JuicerThe Lurch Base & Soul "Slow Juicer" is a Cold Press Juicer for Fruits, Vegetables, and Wheatgrass, part of the new "Base & Soul" range. Thanks to its geared grinder, which you turn slowly by hand, the rotation is much slower than electric juicers, which creates less heat. Juicing fruits and vegetables at low heat ensures that delicate vitamins, enzymes, and secondary plant compounds are preserved without degradation. This method of juicing also prevents rapid oxidation. The natural flavors of fruits and vegetables are highlighted by this reduced oxidation.Instructions for Use 1- Place the body on a flat and clean surface. Push the locking lever forward until it stops to firmly secure it to the surface. If a more secure placement is required or if the surface is uneven, you can mount the device to your workbench using the table clamp. 2- Push the juicing channel into the body's channel until you hear a click and it is in place. 3- Slide the geared grinder through the juicing channel and seat it into the hole in the body. 4- Rotate the strainer cap until it is seated on the end of the juicing channel. 5- Insert the handle into the body. 6- Place the liquid container and pulp container directly under the strainer cap, as shown in the diagram. 7- You can now fill the device. Please note the following: 7.1 If you are juicing hard and large fruits or vegetables, fill only one hopper. First, cut them into thin slices and then fill the hopper with the thinner sides first. To prevent clogging, put the slices in one by one; fill with other slices after the first slice has entered the geared grinder ring. 7.2 If you are juicing soft fruits or vegetables such as grapes, raspberries, or blackberries, you can fill and use both juicing channels. To prevent clogging, we recommend not filling more than 3/4. 8- Turn the handle slowly but steadily clockwise. The squeezed juice will flow directly into the liquid container from the liquid strainer. The pulp will be pushed out of the pulp outlet at the front of the device into the pulp container. 8.1 During juicing, fill the juicing channel slowly. Overfilling and attempting to force it can damage the device or cause clogging if you are juicing hard fruits/vegetables. 8.2 The geared grinder is designed to pull the food to be juiced into the channel as the handle is turned. NEVER push the food with your hand to help it enter the channel. Use the pusher attachment designed for this purpose. 8.3 If you feel resistance when turning the handle or if no juice is coming out despite there being food in the channel, turn the handle slightly counter-clockwise. Then turn it clockwise again to clear the blockage. 8.4 Never use excessive force. 9- Remove the juicing channel by pressing the locking button. The device can now be easily disassembled for washing. Clean the body with a damp and soft cloth.
